About

We started this because planning it was the worst part.

Five of us, in Surrey. The idea came out of a simple observation: the group chat about where to go usually takes longer than the night itself, and someone always ends up doing it.

The problem was never the night out

It was the fortnight of scheduling in front of it. Somebody proposes a date, three people can't make it, somebody else sends four restaurant links, the thread goes quiet, and by the time it revives the Saturday has gone.

Whoever cared most about it going ahead ends up doing the work, every time, and they're the one person who doesn't get to be surprised by any of it.

So we built the thing that does it for you

You pick a package and answer six questions. We book the stops, hold the tables and set the timings — and then hand you a start time and a first address and nothing else.

Making the not-knowing the point rather than the problem was the part that took the longest to get right. It only works if the constraints you give us are honoured exactly, which is why dietary needs, access needs and the one thing you'd rather not do are hard rules on our side, not preferences.

In early concept testing, six of eight respondents rated a surprise, pre-planned night out in the top two levels of the scale. Source: Group 8 concept survey, n = 8, 2026. Small sample — we're treating it as a signal, not proof.

The team

Five people, one city, no outsourced planning.

Every route is built by someone here who has been to the venues in it. That's the limit on how fast we can grow, and we'd rather have the limit.

How we work

Three rules we hold ourselves to.

The price on the card is the price

No booking fee, no service charge, no per-head supplement, nothing added at checkout. A package costs the same whether three of you go or six.

Constraints are constraints

Allergies, access needs and the thing you'd rather not do are confirmed with venues before we take payment. If we can't meet one, you hear about it then — not on the night.

We only sell what we've walked

Every venue in a route is one someone here has been to in person. It's the only way to keep a route secret and still stand behind it.

Where we are

Based in Surrey, British Columbia, running routes across Surrey, Vancouver, Burnaby and Richmond. Victoria and the Fraser Valley are next.

Let someone else do the group chat.
